Who We Are

How We Met

We a "modern" couple...we met online! Clint had come from North Carolina to Utah to attend school.  Heidi was going to school in Utah as well.  After we met online we talked on the phone for a couple weeks.  We decided to meet up at Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah for our first date.  After a year of dating, we were married in the Salt Lake Temple.

Our Plans for the Future

Clint is a student and plans to finish up school in the next couple of years.  After Clint completes school, we plan to move to where ever Clint's future job takes us.  It would be nice to be relatively near our families.  We hope to have a family of 4 children.  We would like Heidi to be able to be a stay at home mom.

We realize that life doesn't always turn out the way we hope or expect.  We are learning to trust in our Heavenly Father.  We're grateful to know that our lives are in His hands, and look forward to life's adventures.

Feelings on Adoption

We are so excited to be able to adopt!  We've experienced the heartbreak of being unable to have a child on our own, and we are grateful that adoption is a possibility.  We will love and raise our adopted children as if they were our biological children.

We believe in being open about adoption.  We want our children to know where they came from, about the love and goodness of their biological parents, and are open to developing healthy relationships.
